1. Introduction

Purpose of Agreement

This Agreement sets out the rules for Route Managers using the Rideon by Citrus platform to manage route operations, collect fares, clear balances, and generate reports.

Acceptance of Terms

By logging in or using the Route Manager Account, you acknowledge and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform.

2. Eligibility & Account Use

Eligibility Criteria

Age Requirement

Only authorized PSV Organization Route Managers aged 18 years and above may use this account.

PSV Organization Authorization

Must be officially authorized by a registered PSV organization

Valid Email Address

A registered, active email for OTP verification and communications

Account Security

Security Obligations

Login is secured via OTP sent to the registered email. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Preventing unauthorized access to your account
  • Immediately reporting any suspected security breaches
  • Not sharing your OTP codes with anyone
  • Logging out from shared devices

4. User Responsibilities

You must use the platform in accordance with Kenyan law, including transport and financial regulations.

  • Data tampering or manipulation

  • Time-Limited: Valid during your active route assignment

The Rideon by Citrus name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Citrus Labs Limited. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

Violation Notice: Unauthorized use of intellectual property may result in legal action and immediate account termination.

  • Timely reporting of issues

Indemnification

Route Managers agree to indemnify Citrus Labs Limited against claims arising from:

  • Misuse of the platform
  • Non-compliance with these Terms
  • Violation of applicable laws
  • Breach of third-party rights
  • Fraudulent activities

10. Termination & Suspension

Voluntary Cessation

By User: You may stop using your account at any time by notifying your PSV Organization Admin.

Platform Suspension Rights

By Platform: Citrus Labs may terminate or suspend accounts for:

  • Non-payment of debts: Outstanding balances or service fees
  • Breach of these Terms: Any violation of agreed terms
  • Illegal activities: Any unlawful use of the platform
  • Fraudulent behavior: False reporting or data manipulation
  • Security concerns: Compromised account or suspicious activity

Data Export Before Termination

Before your account is terminated, you should export all important data:

Consequences of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Immediate loss of platform access
  • All outstanding fees become immediately due
  • Data retention according to legal requirements (7 years)
  • No refund of previously paid service fees
  • Your PSV Organization will be notified

Appeal a Suspension

If you believe your account was suspended unfairly, you can submit an appeal:
